We're continually trying to find new ways to bring independent art to you, and beginning this month, we're launching a monthly movie feature. We're starting big, with the full-length animated feature Sita Sings the Blues, a beautifully illustrated breakup story.

This movie was conceived and created from a deeply personal tale of loss by animator Nina Paley. She's giving it to the world for free as a gift, and we're happy she did. You can show support for the film by visiting their site or go to the webstore

We're looking to feature short films and other works on a monthly basis. If you're a film maker or if you know one, send them our way!
